Chicago Craft Beer Week (CCBW) at Smylie Brothers

May is one of our favorite months because it’s Chicago Craft Beer Week (#CCBW) May 19th through the 29th.
With that in mind, we’ve put together some great events and specials, all geared towards the celebration of CCBW (and we’ll be at some of the celebrations hosted by the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild).
On Friday, May 20 we’ll host our Barrel Aged Tap Takeover starting at 5PM. We’ll release a slew of barrel and wood aged beers, including some returning favorites as well as brand spanking new limited release projects. Come chat with our Brew Crew and sample what they’ve been working on. Barrel aged beers will be tapped at 5pm, and will pour until they’re gone.
Then on Sunday, May 22nd we’re offering a Beer and Donut flight all day. Beer and Donuts! They’re both freakin’ fantastic! Let’s pair them together! Stop by anytime on the 22nd to try three of our beers paired with three unique varieties of donut holes created by our wonderful pastry chef.
On Wednesday, May 25 at 7PM, we’re hosting a Smoke and Beer dinner. Head Brewer Brad Pulver and Chef Grant Carey will feature items cooked or prepared with smoke. Tickets are $35 per person and can be purchased here or by giving us a call at 224-999-7320.
