Beer News at Smylie Brothers – January

This month will be the release of our 2015 edition of Belgian Strong. This year’s release is a Strong Belgian Rye, changing up the malt bill a bit with the addition Crystal Rye. Caramel, dried fruit, and a smattering of rye spice make up the profile. ABV 10%
This annual release can be sampled alongside 2014’s edition in the form of our 2015 Bourbon Barrel Belgian Strong (2014 Belgian Strong aged in Woodford Reserve barrels with dried cherries).
We will continue to release various small batch versions of our Gin Barrel Farmhouse. This is our Farmhouse Ale aged in Chicago Distilling Co’s Finn’s Gin barrels.
